The Power of a Witness

I want to tell you a story about a young man who went to go see a movie. This movie was really touching to the young man and wanted to share it wih everyone. He didn't share it with everyone because it was a good film to watch but this film brought him true happiness and it taught him great lessons and values.

This young man had an older sister off at college far far away from home. She too did go see the same movie that day. It moved her deeply and she also wanted to share that happiness with others.

As the young man went to his father, and as the young woman called the mother, the parents realized, as they dicussed with one another about their childrens opinions on the movie, that they both had two different opinions of the movie and different interests but the whole out look on the movie was the same that it both touched them deeply and it brought them a great happiness.

These two witnesses acted as one even though they were complete different stories it still was the same knowledge. That is why I am out on my mission. I have received a witness of my Savior that has brought an eternal happiness to me and i want to share it with everyone i can and that witness is the Book of Mormon.

I know that the Book of Mormon and the Bible are two witnesses of Jesus Christ. He is the Christ, he is our Savior and Redeemer, and that it is only through Him we can live with our Father in Heaven again. I know this because of the knowledge i have received from both books. Even though they both took place far from each other and the stories in each are different but that doesnt matter because they both testify of Christ and thats what truly matters.

I know that the Book of Mormon is true and i know that anyone who reads it with faith in Christ and a open heart, they will know that it is true and that our Savior lives and He loves us.

I challenge you to read the Book of Mormon if you havent yet and find out for yourself to know that He does live and loves us all!

I know this all to be true in His holy name, Jesus Christ, amen.

God is our loving Heavenly Father!

Right now i would like you to think about your Dad! If you dont have a father than i would like you to think of your mother or grandparents. I want you to think about your favorite memories with this person. I want you to now think of why they were so great and why they were your favorite memories
One of my favorite memories was with my Dad and how he would take the family to the warm river in Idaho and feed the fishes out there! As little kids we would love to do that and he would see how much it made us happy! This was one of the high lights of my life not only was i happy but i knew that my dad cared about his family! My dad loves each and everyone of his kids! He would do anything to make us happy! That is how our Father in Heaven is!
God is our heavenly father and we are literally his children. He loves us so much and wants whats best for us. He loves us that he gave us this earth to live, learn, and grow on, He has given us families to be with on this earth life, and he gave his only begotten Son to suffer for us so that we may return to live with him again in heaven!
I want the parents now to think. Do you think you could give your child up for the whole world? Do you think you could watch your child suffer for the whole world?
None of us would ever want to do that!
Heavenly Father had to go through that! He loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son so that we may live with him again!
God truly does want us to be happy and to learn and grow here on earth! Sure we go through tough times and God lets us go through those times so that we can learn from those experiences! He wants the best for us!
So i ask you to keep that in mind that we are all here together on this journey to get back to our loving Heavenly Father! I am so grateful for my Father in Heaven. I can turn to him whenever i am in need! I love him and i know he loves us!
To know more i invite you to go request for missionaries in your area to talk to you! They can help you through this journey!

Jesus Christ, our Savior!

Lately i have been thinking a lot about a man who made a great sacrifice for all man kind. This man is our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ! I am so grateful for him because with out him i wouldn't have that hope and happiness in my life. I have that hope because he died for all of us so that we could live with our Father in Heaven again.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came down to this earth not only to preach his gospel and perform many miracles but he came down and suffered for all of us so that we could return to live with Heavenly Father. So i want you to think about that word suffer. Why would anyone want to suffer for someone else? Why would someone want to go through everything that he went through? I will tell you why he did this. It is because he loved every single one of us! He truly loves everyone of us individually! This act had to be done and if it didn't happen we could not feel that happiness and hope in our lives!
Because we are not perfect like our Savior this act happened so that we can ask for forgiveness for our sins. He knows us personally and He can help us get through these times when we need him the most. In my life i know that He can truly help you out. Every time i go through a rough phase in my life i turn to him and ask him to help me and to let me know what i need to do to get through these times. I promise if you do that, that He will help you. He knows you and He knows whats best for you! For example my Dad was my football coach in high school and i thought i knew everything about the game of football and how i can improve myself as an athlete. Can i tell you i was totally wrong! In all that time I never turned to my Dad until my Senior year in high school and he helped me out so much where it amazed me how much he could help me! I know the savior can do the same for all of us we all need to be humble and turn to him at times of need and he will help us out tremendously! We are all in this journey together to get back to our Heavenly Father! So keep pushing on through this journey!
I encourage you to talk to your local missionaries!
